BrC Remain the Undefeated BOTC Champions

After a long and arduous BOTC2 this year the Broccoli Crew have managed to retain the champions title. Following a long break due PSN being down we managed to hold our own with the other clans of Titania. In the finals we got to play against our friends The Enders who showed what they were made of. It was a real tough battle with all the FP veterans that have assembled into The Enders. But in the end the BrC showed that they were the better team. Here are our results for the various games played in the tournament:

BOTC2 Wk1 – BrC vs NiT

This week marks the start of Battle of the Clans 2 and the Broccoli Crew took on the Dyno-mites. What started as an easy match the BC turned into a challenge in the last game! BrC vs SOC

On the 23rd January the Broccoli Crew took on the Soldiers of Carnage for a few friendly practice matches. Good clean games were had by both sides. The Broc’s showed that their well developed team dynamic could not be rocked by the new-comers! However, there were a number of times when SOC pulled out a few tricks and almost got the Prenc all the way home. The 3 agreed maps were the Great Gorge, Coco Cliffs and Deep Fried (yes that’s right!). Games 1 and 2 were over in a flash, but Deep Fried lasted a fair bit longer with a few of the usual back and forths. Following the first 3 games many more were had to give both teams a decent amount of time playing exclusively with their team mates. Good times! – bring on BOTC2!

BrC vs EUR

The Broccoli Crew played Team Europe yesterday with a result of 4-0 to the Broc’s. The Euro’s had a good turnout and put up a fight, managing to grab the prenc a few times. But as they are a relatively new team, they found it difficult to get the upper hand over the BC. The team show promise, and with some regular practice they could become a formidable force! Go Team Euro!

Yesterday evening the Broccoli Crew had a face-off with the The Cakinators. There was a good turnout from both teams, with plenty of pre-match practice for both. C@K you really have to get a better password on those practice matches

Battle of the Clans Season 2 – BOTC2

The second season of BOTC is upon us. It seems that this might be an annual event at this rate, but I would love to see a summer and winter league formed to spice up those summer months! The event is being headed by Mundy, a Fat Princess developer and Fun Bits Supremo. Nominations are currently under way to elect a number of BOTC council members who will basically be the event’s adjudicators. These council members will be independent from any participating clans which should keep things nice and tidy. The Broccoli Crew will be participating in force and we will be doing our utmost to hold the Winners title for a second year!

Cake is Back <3

Cake is back in Titania!! So everyone should be able to get back to their old cake jumping habits. Maybe there are a few new ones out there that have not been found or shared with the community yet ; -) ! It looks like we might get some future holiday featured items according to the Fun Bits blog.
Giants – Friend or Foe?

With the DLC came the Giant! A powerful class that can just be used as an enemy smasher or a little bit more. The Giant is powerful as part of a resource gathering team due to their ability to smash ore and trees. The class also has a good amount of health in comparison to the worker. With a Priest and Mage buddy the giant is unstoppable in the right hands! Beyond resource grabbing the Giant is an excellent distraction powerhouse, smashing front doors and drawing the princesses protection out of the dungeon areas. Due to their higher level of health they can survive longer in this type of situation, and their one hit kill nom nom technique can take out the odd cocky Warrior that gets too close.
